Surprise for "Mumy" :)

Hari yang dinanti-nantikan akhirnya tiba...

And on Mother's Day, Hilman presented me with his "surprise" - a weaved basket with a hand towel with "Happy Mother's Day Sharina" embroidered on it. That was the "surprise" which required him to take out all his school books from his school bag the other day. And he also gave me a Mother's Day card which Ayah bought for him :)

And I think I did a good job at my "surprised" look, especially when I read the wordings of the embroidery. Hehehe!

And when I thanked and kissed him, I asked, "Hmmmmm, darling - why did you put 'Sharina', and not 'Mummy'on the towel?", and he said, "Because my teacher asked me what your name was and I told her 'Sharina' laa..." Hahaha!

And his Kak Long gave me two cards - one hand-made, another one, courtesy of Ayah :)

And his Kak Ngah gave me a card (also courtesy of Ayah) and another one which she made for her Seni on Monday.

And the kakaks had a field day teasing Hilman for spelling "Mummy" wrongly on the envelope...and the WHOLE of Sunday they kept on wishing me "Happy Mother's Day MUMY...."

And Hanna said, "Mummy, if Hilman had told his teacher to put your name as "Mummy" and NOT "Sharina" on the towel, it might have come out as "Happy Mother's Day, MUMY", anyway what..." (Trust Hanna to tease her lil' bro :)

Aaaaahhhh...Children. Without them we are not mothers...

Thank you for making me a Mom, my children :)

Mommy loves you all so much...

Nampak macam banyak sangat, kan? But I think it's just because slideshow tu dok repeat the pics over and over again kot? Hehehe!

Dapat satu pun dah okay - that would have also made my day :)

Have a great weekend, BJ.

Ja @ DDI,

Thanks, and Happy Mother's Day to you, too!

Ha-ah...Ini lah barang misteri which required him to kosongkan his schoolbag hari tu :)

Yes, I had a wonderful time with the family on Sunday. I'm sure you did, too, dear :)

I dug out Ainul's handmade card from her school bag with her homework. She forgotten all about it. But to her, any Sunday is Mother's Day.... whihc is nice hehehe until Father's Day arrives, then its Happy Father's Day lak for every Sunday ehhehe. Which is just too cute, cos she gets to see her Baba on weekends only.

But of course, showing the children that they've managed to surprise u really puts a huge smile on their faces, so acting surprised is a pleasure itself.

Yes, I read about Alia's perception of Mother's Day. So cute (as always!) Hehehe!

Happy Mother's Day to you, too, dear :)

It's the thoughts that count, kan? I'm sure she was so excited to give you the card when she was making it, but alas, when she reached home, Disney Channel and the likes took over her excitement! Hehehe!

I pun selalu jumpa a lot of stuff yang dah kepam in my kids' schoolbags which they forgot to give to me - baik cards, gifts, letters from school, etc. - you just name it.

Hmmmmm...that's nice - celebration every Sunday - which I think is a very good idea, indeed :)

Take care!

Hi Kak Shana,

Eh, who did the embroidery on the towel? Takkan Hilman's chegu? Wah, that'll be a lot of towels to do!

Wahhh...I miss my mummy...;'(

Hi Daph,

Thank you, dear :)

I think the teachers buat side business : sub-contract and they get some % from the orders. Apparently, Ayah had to fork out RM15/= to give to Hilman for that!

Yup - EVERYBODY'S commercializing and making money out of it :)

I know how it feels...missing your mom :( Hang in there, okay dear?

Take care.
