I'm taking my lunch break now - without taking lunch. Ayah's coming over to my side of the Uni to have lunch together in an hour's time, and after that I'd have to go to this Haluansiswa Programme which will probably take me away from the office for the rest of the afternoon. And next week, the students will be swarming the campus again as the new Academic Year starts. Sigh...
Anyway, I just need to say this -
Tak kuasa nak dengar and nak cakap about what's happening out there. People out there pakai sedap cakap aje! My two cents -
(a) if these people don't know anything, and are just talking *%#@* based on emotions and ketaksuban,
(b) AND if these people refuse to listen to anything other than what THEY want to hear,
(c) AND if these people don't have concrete facts and evidence to support THEIR arguments and/or opinion or cakap kosong,
(d) AND if these people want to kutuk orang lain based on something they themselves don't know anything about, or not sure of,
Then these people should JUST SHUSH THEIR MOUTHS UP.
And this goes to BOTH sides okay?!
On one hand -
Were these people there when it happened? Can they be the star witnesses of the alleged crime? How sure are they that there's NO conspiracy?
On the other hand -
Were these people there with him at some other place at the time the alleged crime took place? Can they be his alibis? Do these people REALLY know that he didn't do it?
If the answers to all of the above are "NO", then, SERIOUSLY - people should not say anything if they know zilch about what really happened.
And they should use their brain more before opening their mouths.
Pikir la sendiri. Jangan buat dosa kering - and again, this goes to BOTH sides, okay?
Do these people REALLY know the people allegedly involved to judge them?
Don't these people have anything better to do than kutuk and humiliate the alleged "doer" and "doee" without anything to back their beliefs and/or ketaksuban?
We WILL never know what REALLY happened, because banyak benar putar belit...from BOTH sides.
Whatever it is, whether he/they did or did not do - it's between him/them and Allah SWT...
SO, JUST SHUSH!!!

I guess this 'Tak Kuasa' posting pun boleh dipakai untuk Rosmah, ek?
Kita tak ada kat tempat tu so we don't really know if she was really there or not, betul tak?
I tak la support her but she has to be given a fair trial. But rata2 orang dah prosecuted her. Kesian juga...walaupun tak kuasa dgn perangai dia.
Kak Wan,
I agree with you.
that's it. when kak shana blows her top, the world should stop and take heed! hihi...
but well said akak. i myself was put on the spot. but i've figured while totally stay out of all these political hype, personally to stay neutral can do me wonders. i can have the best of both worlds- goody-bags from the federal and state. untung lagi macam ni.
Shana,
Pelik betul politik in Malaysia. Nak kata tak betul.. mungkin betul. Nak kata betul.. mungkin tak betul. Boleh jadi ´Hollywood´ movie.
Absolutely agree with you... buat pening kepala aje. Masalah negara tak selesai lagi... ish.ish..
Shana,
Of all opinions littering the web, yours the most boleh pakai... kalau tak suka sebelah sana ker or otherwise, we don't have the right to condemn them. As you said, we do not know the real story.
And I agree with madam tai tai too.... walaupun I'm no fan of Rosmah (at all), she should not be prosecuted mcm nih... until proven guilty. The same goes to others
Madam Tai Tai,
Definitely. A fair trial - not only by the Courts of Law, but also by the public who should not cakap kosong based on speculations!
Untuk Rosmah. Untuk Saiful Bukhari. Untuk DSAI. Untuk DPM. Untuk semua.
If one cannot verify one's facts, better to just keep one's mouth shut. If not, one is no better than all the BIG TIME pemfitnah out there, WHOEVER they may be.
Yes Shana, you're right! We don't know what happened, coz we were not there in the first place.
Although I'm biased to one side, I still leave the other option open. Maybe he didn't do it.... or maybe he did. We can never know unless there's a solid proof like the Soi Lek's vcd.. he..he..
udinb,
Thank you.
Good to know that I'm not the only one who's so fed up with all the fracas created by the un/mis-informed public...
Yes, it is frustrating when you have your own theories, etc. and you are not able to share them with everybody. BUT, if you were to share them, this would mean that you are merely speculating at the expense of those people allegedly involved.
Correct me if I'm wrong - it's still a fitnah. Dosa memfitnah tu amatlah besar.
Kerp,
I got an SMS from Ayah right after he read my posting yesterday -
"Hi...Rd ur new entry. U sounded so angry! :)"
Hehehe! Actually I didn't realize that the posting had an angry tone to it at all. More of "tak kuasa". You know what I mean?
You're the second person who said that I sounded angry - so, okay... Maybe la kot - "I AM ANGRY?!!" Hehehe!
I'm quite apolitical, and this posting definitely does not have anything to do with politics. I'm sorry if there are readers out there who think that we should never be neutral, and that we must take sides.
Hello??!!! I only take sides if I KNOW the ins and the outs of the side I'm siding, okay?! Dengan bukti-bukti kukuh wa sahih.
And as you mentioned, being neutral comes in very handy most of the time - less guilt when we get benefits from both, huh? ;)
But, on a serious note : everything is between man and Allah SWT. Jawablah nanti sesiapa yang perlu jawab...
Kmar,
Tu lah tu...
But, it's interesting to observe that behind EVERY implicated man behind the current cases, there is a woman standing firm behind him, supporting him, NO MATTER WHAT!
Obviously if one of the men is telling the truth, it follows that the other one must be lying... Again, itu antara dia dan Allah SWT.
And please laaa...Kita yang tak tau hujung pangkal, yang tak tau sebenarnya who's telling the truth, who's lying, and kita yang tak ada bukti sahih dalam tangan kita sendiri - just keep quiet lah...
Mior,
I know there are people out there who might not agree with me, but, don't care lah.
But, I cannot tahanlah when I read comments in some of the blogs yang condemn all quarters - tak kira lah samada condemn DPM, Rosmah, DSAI, Saiful, etc.
No offence meant, but some of those who commented tu macam percaya without any doubts, percaya 200% about who's really in the wrong. And I'm sure they neither know heads nor tails about anything pun. Cakap kedai kopi ajer. Sigh...
Ja @ DDI,
It's only natural and it's okay if one is biased to one side.
But, with a proviso - AS LONG as one DOES NOT CONDEMN the other side publicly when one does not even know the real story... That's the point I'm trying to make in this posting.
An ala-ala Chua Soi Lek's VCD presented as proof? Hmmmm, interesting thought but, I'm sure it won't be a nice sight! (But to some it may be?!) Hahaha!
Kak Shana,
yup, i can confirm with you it does sound like you were furious with all the current political hullabaloo. cant balme you, nor anyone who has the rights to stay neutral.
to be honest, i was not bit interested in politics during TDM's era. when hsi detractors gave him hard times, i couldnt be bothered simply bcos there was not much to shout about. in other words, at least me and family, we felt we were in a safe pair of hands.
being a disabled person, i cant afford to be partisan. i believe that in order for the disabled community to progress, we have to work hand-in-hand with the gomen of the day whether you like it or not. what goes on behind closed door however is subject to one's personal choice.
* bila CC nak disambung? letak la gambar2 sekali...hihi...
Kerp,
And the plot thickens... and I'm becoming more "tak kuasa"!!!
We have a far from perfect government today. But there's no guarantee at all that when, or if, a new government takes over, things are going to be perfect...
"Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely".
- Lord Acton (1834-1902) -
Whether we like it or not, we have to work hand in hand with the government of the day... Yes, very true (and sad?).
Re : CC, ada glitch sikit. PC at home separa-kaput! I hope we still can salvage all the pics we saved in it! But, don't worry, insya Allah, the sequels will come your way soon :)
Take care, Kerp. Have a great weekend!
Hi Wanshana...I always chabut fast if come across such people....and I dislike gossipy people.
The old days when I was the Boss, I had a meeting with all my staff, few hundreds too and told everyone, that if I learn of anyone talking or gossiping bad about other people, I will personally check out the person who started the gossip...and believe you me...a lot of times, it was not the truth.
Just people with noting better to do. Saya pun ta'kuasa, ha ha. Lee.
Shana,
UM ada offer express course to be qualified as "Commissioner of Oath" ke? I reckon it's gonna be a rosy career path in the near future. Booming business you....
HAHAHAHA...
I hereby solemnly declare that I love your blogs to bits!! LOLLL!!!
memamng dah jadi bangsawan.Dunia luar menepuk tangan sambil ketawa.
Err..Ibu, is that declaration made under duress? ;p
P.S. Btw, our home PC got admitted to the 'PC hospital' early yesterday morning...had a massive heart attack and is still being resuscitated, so Mommy won't be blogging until tomorrow when she's back at the office. :)
Uncle Lee,
I also don't like gossipy people. Cannot tahan! And that is why, until now, I RARELY have lunch with anybody at work. I'd rather have a late lunch alone when the cafeteria is not crowded rather than having lunch with a gossipy bunch.
Reason being - when I first started working here, I was introduced to A,B,C, and D. And they were gossiping and hammering a certain E. And the next time, I was sitting with A,B,C, and E, they were gossiping about D... That was the last time I had lunch with them!
I don't care lah if people say I sombong or anti-social. I'd rather be branded that, rather than being a gossip-monger and a hypocrite!
And I don't care lah if these people are high-powered people who could determine my promotions or my future. Janji I do my work.
You have a good week ahead, Uncle Lee :)
Ibu,
Ada. Special course. Dua hari aje. Grading pakai kati. Lagi banyak SDs you can endorse/affirm, lagi banyak markah you dapat... Hehehe!
Errr, same question as Ayah - your declaration about my blog tu, not made under duress, eh?! HAHAHAHA!
Kak Teh,
More dramatic than Bangsawan Melayu and Shakespeare's tragic plays put together...
FYI I have not read the front pages of the newspapers for the last 4 days. Migraine la, Kak Teh...
Ayah,
Can we get back our PC a.s.a.p, please?
I'm having withdrawal symptoms/ syndrome here...
Mommy dear...
Our PC got a heart transplant (motherboard change and upgrade RAM) and has just been discharged. She should be home by tonight. So withdrawal no more... ;p
Hi Kak Shana,
Sorry ya, this comment no kaitan with your posting. Just wanted to say I've added your blog to my blogroll. Is that ok with you? =)
I'm amused that ramai yg boleh percaya bulat2 & influenced with whatever comments been posted on blogs.
These politicians pun sibuk menjatuhkan each other. Do you think they have time to membangunkan negara untuk kita rakyat JELITA (that's U & me)?
Ayah,
:D . Thank you, thank you!
Daphne,
Sure, dear. It'll be an honour. And if it's okay with you, I've also added yours to mine.
Thanks ;)
Mamamia,
Tu lah kan! Not many people think objectively. Good judgments are always clouded by emotions.
And you wrote -
Do you think they have time to membangunkan negara...
Obviously, to some of them, personal agendas and gains are more important than negara and rakyat jelita...
Sigh...sigh...sigh...
:(
