New rooms to usher the new year...

Second Semester starts today.

And I had been on leave for the last 2 weeks. So, you all can just imagine how difficult it was for me to get out from under the duvet this morning.

But, after reaching the office at 7:40a.m., I'm feeling charged up again. I'll have about 60 students taking my courses for the next 4 months. It's not too bad - not too many, not too few. I should be able to meet my KPI of teaching at least 6-8 hours a week :)

Back at home, the girls' room is not yet fully ready. The walls have been painted though, the curtains are already up, and the air-cond unit installed. I think they just could not wait for it to be completed, and they've started sleeping up there for the last 3 nights - never mind all the boxes and stuff lying all over the room.

Their study tables and book-racks will be arriving tonight. And, Voon, our contractor will be installing the water-heater, and putting up the shelves on the walls this Saturday. Hopefully, everything will be done by this weekend, and the girls can fully enjoy their new room before school starts next week.

Hilman has also been sleeping alone in his room (used to be shared with his sisters) for the past three nights. And Ayah and I are very proud of him. We were expecting him to knock on our door in the middle of the night, but so far, so good. He has been a very brave boy, indeed :)

And today's Ayah's last day at work in PP*M. He'll be taking his annual leave from tomorrow until 14th March 2009. And he'll start his clinic session fully at TMC on his birthday - 15th March 2009. We've been busy searching for furnitures and fittings for his new clinic, too. Hopefully, his clinic will be ready by the end of February, insya Allah.

Oh ya - I've also re-arranged the furniture in my office, too, before I took my 2-weeks leave the other day. I'm a furniture-shifter, remember? ;) It has a new feeling to it now. I like :)

Hmmmmm, new room for everyone for the new year. Insya Allah, they'll bring rezqi and good things to all of us in 2009 (and beyond, of course :))

Wassalam.

My Hilman started sleeping in his own romm when dia lasuk Standard 1, but he tries his luck, usually every Friday he will say " Can I sleep in your room?" and that stay will extend through the weekend. Now ni he gets once a month!

Ummi,

I say, why retired? Maybe can still engage in the shifting activities albeit not as frequent as before?

I memang dari dulu shift mengshift furniture ni on my own. Kalau nak harap the other half join sekali, aiyayayaay...memang tak ader ler...

And now, with his slipped disc and all, lagi lah baik punya excuse tak dapek nak nolong...Hehehe!

Shift sorang-sorang ni lagi puas hati kot, kan?

MrsA,

I rasa, in my case, I yang akan ketuk pintu bilik Hilman nanti and ask if I can sleep with him! Hehehe! Miss lah hugging him to sleep :(

As for your Hilman, I'm sure he looks forward to the one monthly treat tu, kan? Sementara they all masih nak tidur with us ni kan, better layan ajer :) Dah besar sikit nanti, nak pegang tangan pun dah tak nak...

(Huhuhu...I dread to think of that day!)

Dear Kak Yatt @ TM,

Room warming? Hehehe... the girls dah selamat memanaskan the room even when it's not ready bebetul lagi.

And Hasya has already started asking if she could have her bestfriend for a sleepover before school starts. I'm still thinking about it. If it's on - kira mini room warming lah tu...Hehehe!

HAPPY 2009 to you and your family, too! Semoga dilimpahkan rezqi, dikurniakan kesihatan yang baik, and most importantly, blessed with joy and happiness throughout the year, insya Allah :)

My Hilman went through stages.. dulu Tahap 1 tak boleh kiss depan kawan-kawan. But now.. when his dad is off for business trip, he hugs his dad tightly and gives him a kiss depan kawan-kawan yang grinning sheepishly. You know what he said when they teased him.. "so what? I love my dad la..!"

Selamat Tahun Baru 2009.

Budak budak akan mula sekolah dan kita akan jadi sibuk semula.
Abah akak mmg suka move kan furniture. Akak selalu confuse kalau balik Bt Caves..sekejap TV kat depan,la ni dah ke belakang. Baru2 ni akak dengar katil bilk dia patah. terpaksa la dia bertukang kat bilik dia membetul kan nya...Tak tau bila orang tua ni nak duduk diam...

ms hart,

Tu lah tu, hero kecik I yang sorang tu dah berani tido sorang. Tapi, Ya Rabbi...sungguh tidak tahu nak mengemas bilik sendiri. Tetiap 2 jam I kena buat spot-check! Kena cakap kat dia lah kot - he will only be a real man when he knows how to keep his room tidy. Hehehe!

The Happiest New Year to you, Mr Sor your PrincessesAngels and Gingerredman, too :). Semoga dilimpahkan rezqi, dikurniakan kesihatan, and abundance of joy and laughter, and all good things in life, insya Allah.

Take care!

* Malam ni tak gi tengok fireworks kat Bandar Melaka ke?

Kak Ezza,

Thank you :) Selamat Menyambut Tahun Baru to you, Abg Aziz and anak-anak, too. Oh ya...Happy Belated Birthday to Mimi, too. Sorry, semalam tak sempat nak leave comment kat Blog akak.

Semoga dilimpahkan rezqi dan kejayaan, kesihatan yang baik and laughters all year round, insya Allah.

Waaaa...Abah Kak Ezza pun furniture shifter, ya? Boleh buat gang macam ni ;). Tapi, dahsyat tu - sampai patah katil?!! Fuyo...nasib baik tak patah pinggang, Kak Ezza! Nanti, Kak Ezza has to tell him to take it easy now. Tak boleh nak ligat susun atur furniture selalu-selalu macam dulu.

Yup - sekolah dah nak start balik. Back to the old routine. Pikir pun dah semput :(

So, Kak Ezza - ENJOY bebetul sebelum bukak sekolah ni! ;)
